October 1970
Charles E. Parente and John M. Randolph, Jr. started a partnership known as Parente, Randolph & Co. in 200 square feet of office space in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Their vision: to be the first regional, full-service firm that would be a true business partner of its clients. Later, Frank Orlando and Wilfred Carey joined them to form Parente Randolph Orlando Carey and Associates.
1983
We open a Williamsport office and merge with a local well established accounting firm.
1987
Charles E. Parente leaves the firm. The firm forms an Executive Committee of principals to guide the firm's future operations under the leadership of John M. Randolph, Jr., its first chairman.
Early 90's
The firm begins to move south through a series of small mergers and sets up offices in Media and Allentown. The firm merges with Curtis Consulting Group, Ltd. in 1993 and our Forensic & Litigation Services Group begins servicing clients nationally. Our migration to Center City Philadelphia is launched. Parente Technology, LLC is formed.
1994
Curtis Financial Group is formed to provide expertise in mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, and private placements.
1998
The firm opens a Harrisburg office, focusing on Healthcare Consulting.
1999
The firm merges with two accounting firms in State College and Wellsboro. The firm also completes a merger with a Wilkes-Barre accounting firm, further expanding the Wilkes-Barre office.
2000
We rebrand and the firm name changed to Parente Randolph.
2001
Employee count hits 400. Parente HR Services is formed.
2003
The firm expands westward and merges with an accounting firm in Pittsburgh.
2006
Our Pittsburgh office expands and moves to a new location.
2007
Parente Randolph's Harrisburg and Allentown (Lehigh Valley) offices expand and move to new locations.
2008
Our Haddonfield office merges with a Southern New Jersey firm and relocates to Cherry Hill, NJ. In June, our Philadelphia offices relocate to One Liberty Place.
