Collins Joins Commercial Enterprise Practice
Principal
Brian is an Audit Principal in the Firm’s Commercial Enterprise Practice and is based in the Philadelphia office. His responsibilities include managing the execution of audit engagements for the Firm’s clients in a variety of sectors, including retail, manufacturing and distribution, computer hardware and software, internet and life sciences.
His 15 years in public accounting include significant experience in managing large multi-national audit engagements. He also has significant experience in both the implementation and application of the provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Brian’s international experience includes having spent three years working in Berlin, Germany in his previous role with a Big 4 firm. During that period, he gained invaluable international financial and accounting experience that included converting statutory financial statements prepared in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) to financial statements prepared in accordance with US GAAP for use in connection with initial public offerings on both the DAX and Neuer Markets.
Education
Brian received a Masters in Business Administration from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA.
